At The Village Church, KIDZONE Children's Ministry Sunday morning education hour serves both parent and child by allowing parents the freedom to participate in church activities for their spiritual growth while nurturing a child in a loving, Christ-centered environment.

THE VILLAGE CRIERS NURSERY

Provides care for children up to two years on Sunday morning and is offered year round concurrent with the 9:30 and 11:00 congregational worship hours, excluding Christmas Eve.

KIDZONE AT THE VILLAGE

Children 2 years old through Kindergarten participate in age-appropriate biblical activities and creative playtime in individually graded classrooms.

Children 1st through 5th grade delve into biblically-based messages that emphasize a virtue of the month. Kidstuf, our kid-centered worship and praise begins the Sunday school hour and complements the basic truths, monthly virtues and Bible messages. Children are then encouraged to move about in age-appropriate, small group controlled environments.

This programming is offered from Labor Day through Memorial Day concurrent with the 9:30 and 11:00 congregational worship hours, excluding school breaks - Thanksgiving break, Spring break, Christmas, Easter and summer break.

Special programming is offered during summer and holidays.

THE ARTS AT THE VILLAGE

Music programming for our kindergarten through 5th grade children:
Children's Singing Choir
Rehearsals every Wednesday from 4:00-4:45 PM
Children's Handbell Choir
Rehearsals every Wednesday through March from 4:45-5:20 PM

The Village Church Puppeterians
3rd graders through high school youth
Rehearsals every Wednesday from 5:20-6:00 PM

REGISTRATION

KIDZONE requires all children participating in the programs to be registered. Once a child is registered, parent participation in the classroom is expected. To register download the Sunday School Registration form, complete it and submit to Diane Rahke. Registration forms are also available at the church.

All programs follow a Child and Youth Safety Policy program.

All programs follow the District 28 school calendar.
